EIGHTY-ONE YEAR OLD FARMER TAKEN IN DEATH AT GRANTSVILLE, MARYLAND
Grantsville, Md. — One of the largest funerals ever held in this community was that of Noah E. Hershberger during the last week of the Old Year.
The local church could accommodate only about two-thirds of the many friends and relatives who came to attend the services. Having been a life-long farmer in this vicinity, Bro. Hershberger was a respected neighbor and friend to all with whom he came in contact. He would have been 82 years of age next March 12. his wife and seven children survive.
Ministers participating in the funeral services were George Beiler, John A. Stoltzfus, Noah E. Yoder and Emory Yutzy.
