Goshen, Ind. — A collision at an intersection of county roads the afternoon of Oct. 26 claimed the life of Ruby L. Hartzler, 16-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mr. Wayne Hartzler of Route 1, Elkhart. | |||
Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon at the Sunnyside Mennonite Church, Dunlap, with Rev. Lester Bauman officiating, assisted by Rev. Clair Schum. | |||
Miss Hartzler was driving alone to Jimtown to pick up her father, and her parents believe she became lost on county roads. She was traveling westward into the sun and apparently failed to see a stop warning sign along the Bashor Road. At the intersection the light Hartzler auto was hit by another car, and both then crashed into a third auto stopped at the stop sign. | |||
Miss Hartzler was pronounced dead at the scene. She was a junior at Concord High School. | |||

16-Year-Old Indiana Girl Killed in Crash At Intersection
Goshen, Ind. — A collision at an intersection of county roads the afternoon of Oct. 26 claimed the life of Ruby L. Hartzler, 16-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mr. Wayne Hartzler of Route 1, Elkhart.
Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon at the Sunnyside Mennonite Church, Dunlap, with Rev. Lester Bauman officiating, assisted by Rev. Clair Schum.
Miss Hartzler was driving alone to Jimtown to pick up her father, and her parents believe she became lost on county roads.
