Fairview, Okla. &#8212; Funeral services were held at the Mennonite Brethren Church here Nov. 5 for Fred Hamm, well-known farmer of the community who died in the field Nov. 2 while drilling wheat.  Relatives from Buhler and McPherson, Kan. came here for the funeral.
Mr. Hamm was found in the field by a friend who noticed the tractor and drill going in circles and went to investigate.  it is believed his death was caused by a heart attack. 
Survivors include his wife and two daughters, Mrs. Allen Wiens and Mrs. Jake Voth and their families.

Farmer Died While Sowing Wheat

Fairview, Okla. — Funeral services were held at the Mennonite Brethren Church here Nov. 5 for Fred Hamm, well-known farmer of the community who died in the field Nov. 2 while drilling wheat. Relatives from Buhler and McPherson, Kan. came here for the funeral.

Mr. Hamm was found in the field by a friend who noticed the tractor and drill going in circles and went to investigate. it is believed his death was caused by a heart attack.

Survivors include his wife and two daughters, Mrs. Allen Wiens and Mrs. Jake Voth and their families.
