Moundridge, Kan. — Funeral services were held at 6:30 p.m. on Aug. 15 at the Eden Mennonite church near here for Carl J. Stucky, 49, whose death at a Wichita hospital Aug. 13 resulted from burns suffered in an explosion and fire at his rural Moundridge home one month earlier. He had been in critical condition since the fire. | |||
Mr. Stucky was a lifetime resident of this community and a member of the Hopefield Mennonite Church. | |||
Surviving are his widow, the former Deloris Lea Schrag; six daughters, LeAnn, Leona, Debra, Dorothy, Lynette and Carla; a son, Donovan; two brothers, Marion J. of Moundridge and Harley J. of North Newton; one sister, Mrs. Lorene Schrag of Moundridge; and four grandchildren. | |||

Burns Claim Life Of Kansas Farmer, Father of Seven
Moundridge, Kan. — Funeral services were held at 6:30 p.m. on Aug. 15 at the Eden Mennonite church near here for Carl J. Stucky, 49, whose death at a Wichita hospital Aug. 13 resulted from burns suffered in an explosion and fire at his rural Moundridge home one month earlier. He had been in critical condition since the fire.
Mr. Stucky was a lifetime resident of this community and a member of the Hopefield Mennonite Church.
