Bluffton, Ohio. — Funeral services were held at the First Mennonite Church on Oct. 8 for Walter H. Gratz, 80, owner and operator of a shoe store here for more than half a century. Dr. Howard raid and Rev. Wilmer Shelly officiated at the service.
A native of this community, Mr. Gratz began working at the Economy Store as a young man. He acquired a partnership in the business in 1916 and became full owner in 1919.
