AMISH YOUTH KILLED WHEN BUGGY IS STRUCK BY CAR
Centreville, Mich — Funeral services for Ernest J. Stauffer, 18 year old Amish youth who was fatally injured in a highway accident, were held Oct. 23 at the home of his parents, Joe Stauffers.
The youth and a companion, Alva Bontrager, 17, were traveling east of Nottawa early Sunday morning when their buggy was struck by a car. Alva, son of William N. Bontragers, is confined to Three Rivers hospital with a broken clavicle and brain concussion. Ernest died en route to the hospital.
