— Mrs. Lena Goertz, 83, widow of David Goertz, died March 10 at the Bethesda Hospital, Goessel. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the First Mennonite Church here, with Rev. Robert Suderman in charge. Mrs. Goertz was born near Newton and resided in this area much of her life. She entered the Bethesda Home at Goessel in December 1969. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. David Daubert of Brighton, Colo., Mrs. John W. Dyck of Newton, and Mrs. Ralph Quiring of Las Vegas, Nev.; three half-brothers and two half-sisters; 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. | |||
