• Funeral services for Mrs. Joe D. C. Goering, 83, were held Monday forenoon at the Eden Mennonite Church, Moundridge, with Dr. H. A. Fast and Rev. Wendell Rempel officiating.  Mrs. Goering, the former Matilda Zerger, died March 28 at McPherson County Hospital.  She leaves her husband, sons Milton W. of Inman, Alvan [''sic'' Alvin] A. of Neodesha, Raymond L. of Salina, and Joe Jr. of McPherson; daughters, Mrs. Ed. J. B. Stucky of McPherson, Mrs. Orlo Kaufman of Gulfport, Miss., and Mrs. Homer Wedel of Moundridge; two brothers, five sisters, 22 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
