• Mrs. Loreen Goering, 62, wife of Martin J. P. Goering of Moundridge, died Dec. 28 after a long illness. Funeral services were conducted Saturday afternoon at the First Mennonite Church of McPherson, with Rev. Ernest E. Porzelius, the pastor, officiating. Mrs. Goering, the former Loreen Waltner, married Mr. Goering in 1945. Surviving in addition to the widower are a son, Russell of Manhattan; one stepson, Jim Goering of Moundridge; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Marvelyn Conquest of Moundridge; one brother, Carl J. Waltner of Moundridge; one sister, Mrs. A. R. White of Wichita; and six grandchildren.
