— Clifford A. Snyder, of Kitchener, Ont., a missionary appointed for service in Argentina, passed away on the boat en route to his field of service on April 10 and was buried at sea the following day.  His wife, Doris, and several children, who were accompanying him to the field, survive.  Also traveling on the same ship was the Frank Byler family.  this was the first instance of a missionary under the Mennonite Board of Missions and Charities passing away at sea.  The Snyders formerly served at the Mexican mission in Chicago.
