Young Farmer Died Suddenly

Goshen, Ind. — Funeral services were held at the Maple Grove Mennonite Church, Topeka, on Aug. 2 for David H. Slabaugh, well-known farmer of that community who died suddenly July 30.

A native of Howard County, Ind., he was 43 years of age. Death was due to a heart attack suffered at the farm home south of Topeka.

Surviving are his wife, the former Verna Hooley; two sons and two daughters; his step-mother, Mrs. Anna Slabaugh; and a number of brothers and sisters.
