Pandora, Ohio, Dec. 20. — Death came to mark, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wilbert Schumacher, Thursday afternoon, Dec. 13th, at Findlay hospital as a relief from spinal meningitis after two days of intense suffering. Four days previous, after attending the afternoon services at the Ebenezer church with his parents he was struck by a passing automobile near the church, and was picked up unconscious. He regained consciousness Monday talking freely with his parents but the blow had been too great and as he became worse Tuesday, was taken to Findlay hospital where he succumbed. | |||
Mark was born September 9, 1921, and died December 13th, 1928, at the age of 7 years, 3 months, and 4 days. He was in the 2nd grade at school. | |||
Funeral services were held at the home of his parents and at the Grace Mennonite church, Saturday afternoon, Rev. P. E. Whitmer, of Bluffton, officiating. Rev. Whitmer was assisted by Rev. S. M. Musselman, also of Bluffton. Interment was made at the Pleasant Ridge cemetery. — Pandora Times. | |||
