FATALLY INJURED IN AUTO ACCIDENT NEAR WAKARUSA, INDIANA
Wakarusa, Ind. — Mrs. Mattie Schrock, 59, was fatally injured and her husband, John Schrock, suffered neck and chest injuries Jan. 30 when their car left the road and struck a tree about four miles from their home.
Funeral services for Mrs. Schrock were held Feb. 2 at the Olive Mennonite church, Rev. Simon Gingerich in charge. She was a member of the Holdeman Mennonite church, Wakarusa.
The Schrocks formerly lived near Hutchinson, Kansas. Surviving Mrs. Schrock are her husband; her mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Hostetler of Nappanee; three sons of Texas, two daughters living in Elkhart, 11 grandchildren, four sisters and eight brothers.
