Youth Killed When Car Hits Truck
Arthur, Ill. — Funeral services for Clarence Schrock, 20, son of Elmer J. and Fanny (Plank) Schrock who died in a car-truck accident, were held March 30 at the Arthur Mennonite Church.
The young man was traveling alone in his car on Route 45 near Mattoon when he struck the rear of a semi-trailer truck. The accident occurred at night, and it was reported that the truck was traveling at a slow rate of speed.
