•  Phil E. Schrag, 58, well-known farmer of the Moundridge community, died Jan. 12 at Halstead Hospital after a long illness.  Services were conducted at the Eden Church near Moundridge on Friday afternoon, with Rev. Arnold Nickel in charge.  Survivors include his widow, the former Olga Waltner, two sons, Stanley and Norvin [''sic'' Norwin] of Moundridge, five grandchildren, one brother and four sisters.
