• John J. C. Gehring, 83, retired farmer and a lifelong resident of the Moundridge community, died at a nursing home there Sunday evening. Services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Eden Mennonite Church, with Dr. H. A. Fast and Rev. Wendell Rempel officiating. Survivors include his widow, Marie; five daughters, Mrs. Ernest Saner of Burns, Mrs. Marvin E. Schrag and Mrs. Orlo Stucky of Moundridge, Mrs. Art V. Krehbiel of McPherson, and Mrs. Marvin H. Stucky of Galva; two brothers and one sister; 17 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
