&bull;  Funeral services for Mrs. Katie Funk, 81, of Goessel were held Thursday afternoon, Feb. 13, at the Goessel Mennonite Church.  Rev. Henry Goossen, the pastor, officiated.  Mrs. Funk, a resident of the Bethesda Home since 1972, died Feb. 11 at the Bethel Deaconess Hospital.  The former Katie Friesen, she married Cornelius F. Funk at Goessel in 1919 and they farmed in the Goessel community for many years.  He died in 1972.  Surviving are a son, Marvin, of Route 2, Newton; two daughters, Mrs. Delbert Landes of Wichita and Mrs. Everett Van Tassel of Culver City, Calif.; one brother, D. B. Friesen of Route 2, Newton; and five grandchildren.
