Buhler, Kan. &#8212; Funeral services were conducted at the Hoffnungsau Church near here Sept. 19 for Eldo D. Schmidt, 53, well-known farmer of this community who died at a Hutchinson hospital Sept. 17.  He had been ill for about a year.
A native of Staunton [''sic'' Stanton] County, Kan., Mr. Schmidt had lived in or near Buhler most of his life.  Survivors include his widow, Esther; two sons, Clifford and Gary; and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jacob F. Schmidt.

WELL-KNOWN FARMER DIES AT BUHLER

Buhler, Kan. — Funeral services were conducted at the Hoffnungsau Church near here Sept. 19 for Eldo D. Schmidt, 53, well-known farmer of this community who died at a Hutchinson hospital Sept. 17. He had been ill for about a year.

A native of Staunton [sic Stanton] County, Kan., Mr. Schmidt had lived in or near Buhler most of his life. Survivors include his widow, Esther; two sons, Clifford and Gary; and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jacob F. Schmidt.
