Adolph Foth was born Oct. 14, 1910, near Cordell, Okla., son of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Foth. | |||
Adolph lived on the farm in Oklahoma for a number of years, and then went to California where he worked as a construction laborer. He lived in Long Beach and Los Angeles most of the time. | |||
About three months ago he became ill and it was found that he had cancer of the lungs. He underwent surgery and showed some improvement for a time. Later it was found that the cancer had affected his brain. He was in the Los Angeles General Hospital for about three weeks. At this time there were many opportunities to talk to him about the Lord, and he made a profession of faith in Christ before he passed away on Sept. 5 at 7:54 a.m. His age was 53 years, 10 months and 21 days. | |||
He leaves to mourn his departure his sisters, Ruth Baergen of La Habra, Calif., Linda Schroeder of Downey, Calif., Esther Andres of Newton, Kan., Mary Foth of Los Angeles, and Alma Schroy of Downey; two brothers, Walter Foth of Cordell, Okla. and Reuben Foth of Fresno, Calif.; seven nieces and four nephews. | |||
Funeral services were held in Whittier with burial in Loma Vista Cemetery, Fullerton. | |||

ADOLPH FOTH
