&#9679; Funeral services for Eva Hiebert, 79, of Goessel and formerly of Walton, were held May 9 at Walton Mennonite Church, with Ralph Weber and Herbert Miller officiating.  Burial in Walton Cemetery.  She died May 6 at NMC-Axtell, Newton.  A native of Hillsboro, Hiebert had lived in Walton and Hillsboro most of her life, residing at Bethesda Home for the Aged, Goessel, the past several years.  Survivors include five sons, Victor of Whitewater, Virgil, Richard and Rudolf Jr., all of Walton, and Ronald of Peabody; three brothers, Abraham Flaming of Inman, Jacob Flaming of Goessel and Dick Flaming of Peabody; one sister, Katie Janzen of Newton; 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.  her husband, Rudolf, preceded her in death in 1982.
