+ | Matilda K. Voth, 87, retired General Conference Mennonite missionary to China, Japan and Taiwan, died April 1 at Bethel Home for Aged, Newton. Graveside services were held April 5 at Greenwood Cemetery, Newton, followed by memorial services at Bethel College Mennonite Church, with Don Kaufman officiating. A native of Whitewater, she is survived by two sons, Stanley of Henderson, Neb., and Leland of Jamaica; two daughters, Maurine Regehr of Hesston and Helen Bertrand of Regina, Sask.; one brother, William Kliewer of California; two sisters, Regina Schmidt and Sarah Voth, both of Newton; 12 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her husband, William C. Voth, two brothers and three sisters—Ludwig, Simon, Martha, Naomi and Alice—and one great-grandchild. |

Matilda K. Voth, 87, retired General Conference Mennonite missionary to China, Japan and Taiwan, died April 1 at Bethel Home for Aged, Newton. Graveside services were held April 5 at Greenwood Cemetery, Newton, followed by memorial services at Bethel College Mennonite Church, with Don Kaufman officiating.
