'''Frau Fannie Kaufman Voran,''' Tochter von Joseph und Fannie Albrecht Kaufman, ward am 5. Juni 1876 nahe Moundridge, Kansas geboren und entschlief sanft im Heern am 10. Febr. 1946. Sie ward am 4. Okt. 1891 von Aelt. Jakob Stucky getauft und Glied der Hoffnungsfeld Mennonitengemeinde wo sie treues Glied blieb. Am 22. Nov. 1893 heiratete sie Tobias Voran, und sie genossen das Eheleben über 52 Jahre miteinander. Von ihren 4 Kindern starb eines ganz jung. Die Heimgerufene ward 69 J. 8 M. und 5 Tage alt. Es trauern um sie ihr Gatte, eine Tochter, Katie daheim, 2 Söhne: David und Willie zu Hesston, Kansas; 2 Schwiegertöchter, 6 Enkel; 1 Schwester, Frau Henry Niehage, und viele Freunde. Die Begräbnisfeier fand am 12. Febr. im Heim und in der Garden Twp. Mennonitenkirche statt, geleitet von Pred. A. J. Dirks. Bestattung auf dem Christian Mennonite Friedhof. | |||

Mr. and Mrs. Tobias Voran, aged residents of Moundridge and pioneer settlers of that community were called away in death at their home there last week. Mrs. Voran, 69, died as result of a heart ailment early Sunday morning, Feb. 10, while Mr. Voran, 84, passed away three days later, on Wednesday, Feb. 13. Cause of his death was pneumonia. | |||
Funeral services were held at the Garden Township Mennonite church south of Moundridge, for Mrs. Voran on Tuesday, Feb 12, and for her husband on Friday, Feb. 15. | |||

Mrs. Fannie Kaufman Voran, daughter of the late Jacob and Fannie Albright Kaufman, was born June 5, 1876, near Moundridge, Kans., and quietly passed away at 1:15 Sunday morning, February 10. | |||
She was baptized on October 4, 1891, by Rev. Jacob Stucky in the Hopefield church. Later she transferred her membership to the Garden Mennonite church, where she remained a faithful member until death. | |||
On November 22, 1893, she was joined in holy wedlock with Tobias Voran by Rev. Valentine Krehbiel. They had the privilege of sharing life’s joys and sorrows for 52 years, two months and 19 days. | |||
Four children were born to this union, of which one infant daughter preceded her in death. | |||
Mrs. Voran reached the age of 69 years, eight months and five days. | |||
She left to mourn her sudden departure her aged husband, Tobias Voran; one daughter, Katie, of the home, two sons, David and Willie of Hesston; two daughters-in-law, six grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Henry Niehage, and many relatives and friends. | |||
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, February 12, at the home and in the Garden Mennonite church, in charge of Rev. A. J. Dirks. | |||
Interment was made in the Christian Mennonite cemetery. | |||
