— Funeral services for John A. Voran of 720 East Broadway were held at the Bethel College chapel Monday afternoon, conducted by Dr. J. H. Langenwalter and Rev. S. J. Goering. Mr. Voran died at the age of 74 at the Bethel Deaconess Hospital Friday afternoon, May 12, after a lengthy illness. For many years he was engaged as a plumber at Pretty Prairie, until he moved to Newton in 1944. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Louise (Ries) Voran, and the following children: Mrs. H. R. (Selma) Graber; Mrs. A. R. (Anna) Graber, Kingman, and Leo A. Voran of Dodge City. Also three sisters and one brother survive. Mrs. J. J. Voran and Mrs. H. W. Voran of Cleveland, Kans., Mrs. H. D. Kopper of Hutchinson and C. D. Voran of Augusta. Interment was made in Greenwood cemetery. | |||
