HUTTERITE COLONY MEMBER LOSES LIFE IN HUNTING ACCIDENT
Freeman, S. D. — A number of Freman [sic Freeman] community residents attended funeral services at the Jamesville Colony on July 7 for Sam Wipf, 29-year-old father who was fatally injured in a hunting accident.
Mr. Wipf was on a wolf hunting trip two miles east of the colony when a gun in the hands of his brother, John Wipf, accidentally caused his death. His wife and two children survive.
