Funeral services for Mrs. Lena Warkentin, 69, of Newton were held Monday afternoon at Draper's funeral chapel and the Alexanderwohl church near Goessel, of which she was a member. Mrs. Warkentin, the wife of Henry J. Warkentin, died at Axtell Christian hospital May 4. She had lived in Newton the past 16 years. Surviving in addition to her husband are one daughter, Mrs. Milton Bartel of Aberdeen, Idaho, one son, Orlando, of Moses Lake, Wash., six brothers, two sisters and four grandchildren.
