• Laura Mae Wiebe, 23, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Wiebe of rural Whitewater, died July 17 after an extended illness. The funeral was conducted Monday afternoon at the Lamb Mortuary in Whitewater, with Rev. L. R. Amstutz of the Emmaus Mennonite Church in charge. Burial was made in the church cemetery. Survivors in addition to the parents include three sisters, Florene, Donna and Marcella, and three brothers, Douglas, Gordon and Lawrence; and the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. G. A. Harder of Newton and Mrs. Herman Wiebe of rural Whitewater.
