—  Mrs. Katie Wiebe, 89, widow of Abraham D. Wiebe, died Saturday evening at the Bethel Home for Aged.  A resident of Newton for the past 12 years, she had lived at the Home the past five months.  She was born in South Russia, and was married to Mr. Wiebe at Inman in 1897.  He died in 1955.  A brief service for Mrs. Wiebe was held Tuesday afternoon at Draper's Funeral Home here, followed by services at the Lehigh Mennonite Church in charge of Rev. Peter Goering.  Among four surviving children are Ted Wiebe and Mrs. Dave  Schrieock of Newton.  She also leaves a grandson and two sisters, Mrs. G. K. Peters of Reedley, Calif. and Mrs. Elizabeth Epp of Shafter, Calif.
