• Mrs. Elizabeth H. Wiebe, 72, a resident of Newton for more than 50 years, died Tuesday evening, Feb. 8, at Salem Hospital in Hillsboro. The former Elizabeth Hiebert, she married David D. Wiebe in 1921, and he died in 1967. She was a member of the Newton First Mennonite Church, where the funeral was conducted Saturday forenoon by Dr. Albert H. Epp. Mrs. Wiebe leaves three daughters, Mrs. Truman Diener of HIllsboro, Mrs. Rosalie Bryan and Mrs. Joseph Myers, both of Denver; two sons, Richard of Newton and LeeVern [''sic'' Levern] of Denver; three sisters, Mrs. Marie Unruh of Lewiston, Idaho, Mrs. Esther Lindteigen of Hillsboro, and Mrs. Ruth Hiebert of Aberdeen, Idaho; a brother, Ruben Hiebert of Newton; and 13 grandchildren. | |||
