Winkler, Manitoba. — David R. Wiebe, prominent farmer of southeast of Winkler and a leader in school affairs, died at the local hospital Jan. 14, at the age of 43, after being ill for several years with an heart ailment. Funeral services at the large M. B. church here were widely attended.
Mr. Wiebe served for many years as school trustee and later as chairman of the school board. He leaves his wife, the former Mary Enns, six daughters and three sons.

PROMINENT MANITOBA FARMER, 43, DIED

Winkler, Manitoba. — David R. Wiebe, prominent farmer of southeast of Winkler and a leader in school affairs, died at the local hospital Jan. 14, at the age of 43, after being ill for several years with an heart ailment. Funeral services at the large M. B. church here were widely attended.

Mr. Wiebe served for many years as school trustee and later as chairman of the school board. He leaves his wife, the former Mary Enns, six daughters and three sons.
