● Funeral services for Anna M. (Epp) Wiebe, 98, of Elbing, were held July 1 at Emmaus Mennonite Church, rural Whitewater. W.C. Wiebe, Edward Wiebe, Andrew Shelly and Rodney Crowell officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery. A native of Brainerd, she died June 28 at Newton Medical Center. Survivors include five sons, Alfred of Burns, Edward of Rockford, Ill., Waldimar and Richard, both of Whitewater, W.C. of Okeene, Okla.; four daughters, Hilda Regier and Esther Busenitz, both of rural Newton, Emilie Busenitz of Whitewater, Gladys Wiebe of Elbing; one brother, John Epp Jr. of rural Whitewater, three sisters, Emilie Harder, Agathe Wiebe and Agnes Regier, all of Whitewater; 46 grandchildren; 118 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Her husband, Herman A., preceded her in death in 1964. | |||
