A long-time resident of the Noble and Wayland, Iowa, communities, Peter W. Widmer, passed away at Wayland on Jan. 18 at the age of 78. He was born in Switzerland on Sept. 14, 1868, and was the last surviving member of a family of five. He came to this country at the age of seven. Final services were held at the Eicher Mennonite church, of which he was a member. | |||
