Henry Dyck was born Feb.13, 1894, at Beatrice, Neb.  He came to California with his parents, the late Abraham and Anna (Classen) Dyck, in May 1900.  They lived in the Adelaide community for several years.  In 1908 they made their home in Willow Creek community, where he attended school.
 
He was baptized upon his confession of faith in Christ and was received into the fellowship of the Willow Creek Mennonite church of Paso Robles, Calif. on May 30, 1909, by Rev. F. F. Jantzen.
 
He was united in marriage to Margaret Dueck, daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Dueck, on March 23, 1922.
 
One son, Gilbert, preceded him in death in 1950.  He is survived by his wife Margaret, five sons and four daughters:  Edward of Shell Beach, Rudie of Templeton, Elwood of Taft, Alvin of Templeton, Kenneth of the home, Katharyn (Mrs. Robert Burk) of Eagle Point, Ore., Marilyn (Mrs. Bernard Tyner), Elsie (Mrs. Norman Jones) of Atwater, and Anna (Mrs. David Claassen) of Paso Robles, Calif.

HENRY DYCK
