FATALLY INJURED IN HIGHWAY ACCIDENT ON THANKSGIVING DAY
Word has been received here of a tragic highway accident near Adrian, Mich., on the evening of Thanksgiving Day which claimed the life of Mrs. John E. Weaver of Goshen, Ind. Mr. and Mrs. Weaver were returning from a visit with their son, Richard Weaver, and family of near Ann Arbor when the accident occurred, but other details are lacking.
Mrs. Weaver, a member of the Eighth Street Mennonite church, had been serving as a Review correspondent and was corresponding secretary of the Women’s Missionary Societies of Indiana.
A daughter, Eleanor, a member of the M.C.C. relief unit in Puerto Rico, was expected to return to Goshen for the funeral early this week.
