•  Mrs. Helena Doerksen, 92, widow of Bernhard D. Doerksen and long-time resident of Satanta, Kan. died Nov. 11 at the Sublette Community Hospital.  She was a native of Manitoba and a member of the Kleingemeinde Church.  Funeral services were announced for 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Pleasant Prairie Church of God, followed by a service at 2:30 p.m. at the Emanuel Mennonite Church of Meade, with Rev. John K. Reimer officiating.  Mrs. Doerksen was the mother of Bernhard Doerksen of Newton.
