— The life pilgrimage of Mrs. Katherina Decker (nee Tschetter) began in Russia Sept 21, 1874, and ended March 9, 1956, at Huron, S. D.  She came to the U.S. at the age of five, and was married to Jacob A. Decker in 1893.  They lived in various South Dakota communities, Mr. Decker passing away in 1945.  Funeral services for Mrs. Decker were held at the Bethesda Mennonite Church, Marion, of which she was a member.
