• Mrs. Joe N. Yutzy, 56, lifelong resident of the Yoder community near Hutchinson, died Jan. 14 at the Kansas University Medical Center after undergoing open heart surgery, at which time two plastic valves were placed in her heart to correct defects caused by rheumatic fever. She was a member of the Yoder Mennonite Church, where the funeral was held on Jan. 16.
