TRACTOR PLUNGES INTO RAVINE, FATALLY INJURING FARM YOUTH

Belleville, Pa. — Numerous fractures suffered in a tractor accident five days earlier resulted in the death of Peter Elmer Yoder, 18-year-old son of Elmer E. Yoders, on May 5 in the Huntingdon hospital.

Funeral services were held May 8 at the Maple Grove Mennonite Church here, Jacob Weirich, Aaron Mast and Louis Peachey officiated.

The youth was plowing on a hilltop for his brother Willard and apparently drove too close to a steep incline, the tractor rolling down and crashing into a deep ravine.
