Wellman, Iowa. — Eli Y. Yoder, aged 90 years, who came to Iowa county with his parents nearly 80 years ago, died here at the home of his son, Mahlon Yoder, Tuesday, Feb. 29. Grandfather Yoder was born in Somerset county, Pa., April 1, 1853. | |||
Working hard and enjoying good health most of his life, he contrubuted much to the upbuilding of this community as well as the local Mennonite church. His wife, nee Anna Wertz, preceded him in death January 21, 1932. Eight sons and two daughters survive. | |||
