Retired Farmer Died Suddenly
Orrville, Ohio. — Funeral services for John E. Zook, 59, well known farmer of the Wooster community, were held at the Martins Mennonite church Sept. 11. He died at the Wooster hospital Sept. 8 after suffering a stroke of paralysis earlier in the day.
Mr. Zook, who had served as a deacon of the Martins church since 1932, farmed in Wayne county most of his life.
Surviving are his wife, Lila Nussbaum Zook; four daughters, Mrs. Franklin Steiner of Cleveland, Mrs. Samuel Yoder of Elkhart, Ind., Ruth, student at Goshen College, and Doris, at home; two sons, Alfred of Benson, Ariz. and Gordon of the home; and two grandchildren.
