Orrville, Ohio. — Funeral services were held at the Smithville Mennonite church May 18 for John C. Zook, 83, who died at his home Sunday, May 15, after suffering a stroke of paralysis the previous Friday.
He had resided in Smithville for 45 years, formerly operating a roofing and tinning business there.
The last surviving member of his family, he leaves his wife, Katie Miller Zook, six daughters, one son, 17 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
