• Benjamin Zerger, long-time farmer in the McPherson community, died early Sunday at Mercy Hospital in Moundridge at the age of 70. He had been ill 10 days. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday afternoon at the Eden Mennonite Church by the pastor, Rev. Arnold Nickel. Mr. Zerger leaves his widow, the former Mary Krehbiel, four daughters, five sons, 20 grandchildren, two brothers and six sisters. A sister, Mrs. Jonas J. Goering, lives in North Newton. | |||
