Wayne, Ind.—The liesurely [''sic''] fishing trip of an elerly [''sic''] retired farmer of the Grabill community and his eight-year-old grandson ended in tragedy on Friday, June 4, when the grandfather, John Zehr, was fatally injured in a runaway. He passed away in a Ft. Wayne hospital soon after the accident.

The two were traveling down a lane by horse and buggy to Cedar Creek when the horse suddenly bolted, throwing them out. The elderly man suffered a broken neck. His grandson, John S. Graber, received a fractured right wrist and other injuries. The deceased was 69.

INDIANA RETIRED FARMER FATALLY INJURED IN BUGGY ACCIDENT

Ft. Wayne, Ind.—The liesurely [sic] fishing trip of an elerly [sic] retired farmer of the Grabill community and his eight-year-old grandson ended in tragedy on Friday, June 4, when the grandfather, John Zehr, was fatally injured in a runaway. He passed away in a Ft. Wayne hospital soon after the accident.
