He was married on Aug. 18, 1927 to Bertha Reedy of Collum, Ill. In his early years he united with the East Bend Mennonite Church near Fisher, Ill., and was actively engaged in the work of the church in various capacities until his death. | |||
Surviving are his widow; three sons, Carl of Northbrook, Ill., Loren of Sarasota, Fla. and David of Grand Rapids, Mich.; a daughter, Norma (Mrs. Milton) Schrock of Foosland; a brother, Sam M. of Fisher; 18 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. | |||
Funeral services were held Aug. 28 at the East Bend Mennonite Church with Wilbur Nachtigal in charge. Burial was in the East Bend Memorial Gardens. | |||

Albert R. Zehr, son of Samuel S. and Lena Unsicker, was born Feb. 19, 1906 on the farm near Foosland, Ill. where he lived his entire life. Death came on Aug. 25, 1980 as the result of a heart attack.
He was married on Aug. 18, 1927 to Bertha Reedy of Collum, Ill. In his early years he united with the East Bend Mennonite Church near Fisher, Ill., and was actively engaged in the work of the church in various capacities until his death.
