A retired Newton school teacher, she was a member of the Bethel College board, the Bethel women's organization and the Bethel Deaconess Hospital Auxiliary. She was married to Leo Brandt in 1931. He survives along with a son, Dr. Richard H. Brandt of Ft. Dodge, Ia.; a daughter, Barbara (Mrs. E. H.) Newfeld of Mission, Kan.; two sisters, Mrs. Walter B. Enns of Newton and Anna Marie (Mrs. H. M.) Regier of Memphis, Tenn.; and six grandchildren. |
