Kalona, Iowa. — A fatal accident in the early morning hours Wednesday, Dec. 2, claimed the life of A. D. Bontrager, 28, when the fuel oil transport truck he was driving crashed into a bridge near Oelwein and burned. He was pinned in the wreckage. | |||
Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon, Dec. 3, at the Conservative A. M. church near here. | |||
Survivors include his wife, the former Esther Kauffman, and six children from five weeks to six years old; his parents, Dannie Bontragers of Michigan; and grandparents, A. D. Bontragers of Sarasota, Fla. | |||

Kalona, Iowa. — A fatal accident in the early morning hours Wednesday, Dec. 2, claimed the life of A. D. Bontrager, 28, when the fuel oil transport truck he was driving crashed into a bridge near Oelwein and burned. He was pinned in the wreckage.
