<center><h3>FATHER OF 6 CHILDREN KILLED WHEN TRANSPORT CRASHES INTO BRIDGE</h3></center>
Kalona, Iowa. — A fatal accident in the early morning hours Wednesday, Dec. 2, claimed the life of A. D. Bontrager, 28, when the fuel oil transport truck he was driving crashed into a bridge near Oelwein and burned. He was pinned in the wreckage.
Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon, Dec. 3, at the Conservative A. M. church near here.
Survivors include his wife, the former Esther Kauffman, and six children from five weeks to six years old; his parents, Dannie Bontragers of Michigan; and grandparents, A. D. Bontragers of Sarasota, Fla.
