— Funeral services were held last Friday forenoon at the First Mennonite Church of Halstead for John B. Beutler, 83, who died Nov. 5 at the home in Newton. Rev. Roland Goering officiated. A native of Tipton, Mo., Mr. Beutler had lived in Newton since 1929. He is survived by his wife, Minnie Kathryn; two sons, Lawrence of St. Louis, Mo. and Edward of Newton; two brothers, Otto of Meade and Adolph of Ontario, Calif.; and five grandchildren. | |||
