Arthur, Ill. — Funeral services were held in the Amish settlement here Dec. 22 for Min. Eli D. Beachy, 75, who died unexpectedly after suffering a heart attack in the Arthur business district. His wife died four years ago.
Min. Beachy had gone to Arthur on a shopping trip, and apparently died after untieing his horse and mounting the buggy to return home. His lifeless body was found by Fred D. Schrock.
