(Mrs.) Katherine Tilitzky of Swift Current passed away on September 2. She was born on December 15, 1915 in Russia and immigrated to Canada in 1923 with her parents. They settled in the Turnhill area near Herbert, Sask. She accepted Christ as her personal Saviour when C.N. Hiebert held services in the Turnhill Church, and she was baptized at age 14. She enjoyed teaching Sunday school. She married John Tilitzky in 1964. They lived in Herbert till 1968 when they moved to Swift Current. She became an active member of the Bridgeway Community Church there. She is survived by her husband John; two sisters: Mary (Mrs.) P. Klassen of Steinbach, Man. and Anne (Mrs. D.l Funk of Abbotsford, B.C.; and one brother, Herman Heinrichs of Niverville, Man. The funeral was held September 5 in the Bridgeway church with pastors Peter Nikkel and Neil Block, and Ernest Regier officiating.
