EDWARD J. LAUTERMILCH
Edward Lautermilch of Swift Current, Sask. passed away on August 19. He was born October 15, 1901 to Mr. and Mrs. John Lautermilch in the Odessa area , Ukraine, Russia. He immigrated with his parents to North Dakota in 1905 and they moved to Woodrow, Sask. in 1910. He accepted Christ as his Saviour at age 20. Shortly after he was baptized and joined the MB Church at Woodrow. In 1923 he married Josephine Grose. In 1944 he was ordained as minister of the gospel at the Woodrow Church. He studied at MBBC in Winnipeg and Canadian Bible College in Regina. He taught at Herbert (Sask.) Bible School, 1945-56, then pastored three churches: Swift Current MB, 1957-62, Kelowna (B.C.)
