JOHN M. HEINRICHS

John M. Heinrichs of Virgil, Ont., died June 29. He was born July 11, 1894 to John F. and Maria (Dyck) Heinrichs at Gossel, Kansas. When he was a boy the family moved first to Waldheim, Sask., and later to Helpburn. Here he was baptized and accepted into the Mennonite Brethren Church. On November 4, 1920 he married Anna Loewen. They lived in Hepburn, Virgil and Fenwick, Ont. (where he operated a garage for many years) before moving to a retirement home near the Virgil MB Church in 1961. Mr. Heinrichs was predeceased by his wife and is survived by three sons: Arnold, of Fenwick, Walter, Nanaimo, B.C. and Ted, Hagersville, Ont.; two daughters: Martha (Mrs. Henry) Lozinski, Waterloo and Selma (Mrs. William) Cyopik, WeIland, both of Ontario; three brothers, two sisters, 22 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Funeral services were held July 2 in the Virgil MB Church with Daniel Willms and Rudy Bartel of the Fairview MB Church officiating.
